Barlow definitely. Count Volger! And he has an epic mustache. I have to second Leah: I was going to say Deryn but Dr. Barlow is really the best. I just finished this one up on audio this week. It was fantastically narrated by Alan Cumming. All in all I found this a satisfying ending but agree it was not the best in the trilogy. For me that goes to Leviathan.
